South Devon cattle are the big British beef breed. It originate from either Devon, England and whilst they might originate from either when early when a 16th century, a South Devon Herd Book Society of England was non formed until 1891. It is the copper red within colour.

Canadian South Devon Association
Following imports from England in 1974, the present Association was formed in 1975 for the purpose of development, registration and promotion of South Devon cattle.
